Wrong way .... Vineyard work .... Steep path ....

How far away people's thoughts move and how difficult it is for them to approach the truth, even when it is offered to them. It is like a silent defence against everything that comes from Me and bears witness to Me, it is as if they are fleeing from Me, Who is the eternal Truth Himself. Yet they also stand apart from love and therefore do not recognise the truth which emanates from eternal love. People flee from the light and as long as they walk in darkness they go wrong. Yet they do not even think about where the path they are taking leads .... And that is why it is so difficult to awaken in them the sense of responsibility which they bear towards their soul.

They go through life completely thoughtlessly and must therefore be forcibly disturbed from their calm and careless way of life. An act of violence would truly not be necessary if humanity were not in greatest danger, which I would like to avert and can also avert if the human being himself would reach out to Me, if he would introspect of his own accord and reflect on the purpose and goal of his existence. And in order to achieve this I have to repeatedly influence him through illness, suffering or death, through his own or other people's adversity; I have to knock on his heart's door and speak to him .... Yet how rarely is My language understood because people do not believe in Me.

And again, it is love alone that can bring about a change in people .... Love is the first thing, and without love the path to Me will not be found. And thus all My endeavours and means of help are aimed at kindling love in people's hearts so that they will learn to believe and come within themselves. And time and again I send My messengers to them who preach love and try to awaken a living faith; I send My messengers to them who bring them the truth. Where they encounter indifference, defence or even hostility, My efforts no longer bear fruit, the gulf between Me and them is still too great and the vineyard work will not be very successful.

And yet, diligent vineyard labour shall be done, My Word shall be carried everywhere, My call shall penetrate everywhere, My Gospel shall be proclaimed everywhere and the near end shall be mentioned. It is like a trumpet call which resounds through the world .... yet sometimes it reaches an ear which listens and follows the sound, sometimes an earthly traveller hungry for light and strength who is weary on the path is touched and invigorated by it and hurries to receive the good news he has been longing for.

And for the sake of these few I send out My messengers so that they may be gathered, so that they may be given the necessary food to be able to cover the earthly path to the goal. For I do not want them to go wrong or to sink down exhausted before the finish line. I will come to meet them and still give them plenty of favours because the last end of the path will be very arduous, for it goes steeply upwards because it has to be shortened, for the end is near .... Therefore, do not become weak when your earthly path is difficult but remember My Words that you are close to the end of your life and, if you want to, you will be able to ascend in leaps and bounds with My help. For I will hold out My hand to anyone who is willing and pull him up as soon as he grasps it ....
